My Wyoming Garden

It has been an uneventful two weeks, at least garden wise. Seems like nothing is growing as well, or as fast as I would like. The past few days, and it looks like a few more, we are getting up and around and above 100 degrees. With a bit of water or a lot, maybe things will pick up.

On a good note, everything is growing. Unfortunately, the weeds seem to be winning in some areas of my garden.
Onions Doing Well and Not Many Weeds Here
Too hot to work much on my hands and knees, so I have resorted to bursts of a few minutes at a time before retreating inside once again.
Peas, My Go-To Snack When Working In The Garden

I am eating strawberries, radishes, and the peas are just starting.

Looking for first tomatoes in a few weeks, but that may be overly optimistic.

Garden Update

Time for a first of June garden update. Seeds are in, Tomatoes are transplanted, onions are growing, peas starting to bloom and I am eating radishes. Oh - and all is well in the world.

Not getting much writing done, but my books are still selling and the garden is growing. This time of year is when the perennials, the ones that come back every year are starting to look good. Take a walk around my Wyoming garden with me, photos from May 30, 2016.
