The GMBSA award

With as many awards that are being thrown around at various web sites and blogs I was not surprised when I was notified that I had been awarded one. Doesn’t everyone win something like this—you know, you won, now send us a check to get a giant book with your name in it—whop—ee. I really was not that excited until I found out which one I had won. It was the biggest and most well known of all Blog awards the Gold Medal Blog Superior Award. I am truly humbled by this win; only one blog in 1.2 million has won a GMBSA.

To get the actual GMBSA cup, a cool vase of white china with the GMBSA insignia engraved across the top and the words, “one in a million,” wrapped around the center of the vase. This year’s model, I understand, is made of southwestern horse hair pottery and is the best yet.

Sorry, I am so excited I forgot what I was talking about before I started to digress. I really love the word digress. Anyway, I was starting to talk about getting my GMBSA. To get my actual vase, I think I will set it by my computer where I do my great blogging work. I need to send (by e-mail of course, no texting for us blogging superstars) an acceptance to the GMBSA headquarters in Seattle. (They even gave me their secret e-mail address—WWW.GMBSAblogcitement.com -- Hey, just thought of something, isn’t Seattle where Microsoft is located, Bill Gates may be reading my blogs, wonder if he is Mr. GMBSA himself. He likes my blog; I can not believe this is happening to me. Just an old guy thinkin’ up stuff in Wyoming and now I have reached the mountain tops, the metaphorical blogging mountain tops.

I have now tried to send, multiple times, my acceptance for the GMBSA but a web site keeps interrupting mine, the site, WWW.KanyeWestinyourface.com, I have not heard of before. Every time I send my acceptance the West site sends me an automated message that says Beyonce’s site is better and a lot funnier than yours, where is Beyonce’s GMBSA vase?

I will keep trying but right now it seems like time to relax, I recorded some Taylor Swift country music videos, think I’ll watch them right now. You know I can’t think of a single person that wouldn’t like her videos.
